Not sure if Mirchi & Mime and Madeira & Mime are associated or related but the concept remains the same. So are the expectations for service and food.
They have first come first served policy for a group of less than 10. It was 31st Dec afternoon and we had to wait for around 45 mins to get a table.
We got started with LIIT and Beachcomber. LIIT requires no introduction. It was served in a long, really long container and was potent. Must try if you are a fan of LIIT. Beachcomber was a mocktail with a mix of Pineapple, Watermelon, coconut and cream. Try if you like to have a sweet mocktail.
In food, we tried Classic Nachos that were loaded with beans and sour cream. Jalapeno Poppers jalapeno and cheese stuffed deep-fried poppers.
In mains, we tried Paneer Manglorian Hoppers. My expectation was Sri Lankan Style Hopper that I assume to be small in size and crispy but this one turned out to be a big uttapam like Hopper with spiced paneer. Though the dish was good, it was quite different from what I initially expected. Next was a Japanese dish Miso Veg Ramen. It was soup style ramen topped with sprouts, raw onion, spring onion etc.
We ended the meal with a Cheese Cake which was again up to the mark.
Service does not require any additional endorsement. Near perfect considering the speech and hearing impaired staff. Can’t expect more than this.
Approx Rs. 2000/- for two including all taxes.
